A week after the general elections to the English Parliament, and after black Friday, we live the Socialists, the analysis election results have been produced by all political forces, and I have to say that the part we played in Gipuzkoa and in Euskadi, we have covered most flattering expectations: 9 Members and 9 senators to which we must add the chosen in the Basque Parliament. As of January were two senators plus one and seven deputies.
On election day, my responsibility as one of the representatives of the PSE-EE, visiting several polling stations in the morning and evening, being in the count that we had two tables covered with auditors. At noon the investment was still high even when the day was rainy and windy, and at night, on tables that touched me tripled our ballots to the PP and PNV. To return to the House of the People with the records of the results, all fellow commented that we had won on their tables. The results gave on television but were not as good as we would have liked, absolute majority, we could not complain because we have grown to about 6 of the majority.
This week, we have also pointed to two fellow council members who were killed by ETA. On Thursday, 13 we did in the cemetery of Orio, Juan Priede and Froilan Elespe Saturday in Lasarte-Oria.
